Busy and Awesome week

Hello mi familia y amigos! This week was a pretty busy week and was pretty awesome. We just found out on Saturday that....Elder Mauchley will be leaving Dallas on this Tuesday :( I will be staying here for at least another 6 weeks. We also found out that my next companion will be Elder Sheide (rhymes with Heidi). Elder Mauchley was actually companions with Elder Sheide a while ago so it's good to get a little insight on what he's like. I'm excited but sad to see Elder Mauchley go because we have become AMAZING friends. We will definetly be hanging out after the mission.

Anyways lets talk about what happened this week. Well last monday on p-day we got 3 new investigators! For you people who have been on a mission you will know how very uncommon that is. Because p-day ends at 6 o clock on monday so we have about 2 and a half hours to do some work. And in that small window of time we found 3 people who set up a return appointment with us. Two jake and rebecca live in the little town of rickreall. They were a referal that we received from some other missionaries. And the other we just talked to in the street. It was awesome. We also had a good lesson with Gabe this week. He's been reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, but he still hasn't felt the Holy Ghost tell him it's true yet. We came to the conclusion that he just doesn't recognize what it feels like so in this last lesson we asked him to fast and pray about it. And being the awesome guy he is, he accepted. So we can't wait to hear what happens there.

We also got a new investigator named Ted. He is a really cool guy. It was kinda wierd because the Elders in Monmouth (a nearby city) taught him and set a baptismal date with him. But he lives here in Dallas. So....they told him that we should be the ones to teach him. So we have another awesome guy that we are teaching. He's really cool and seems like he wants to be baptized for the right reasons. His baptismal date is set for April 9. We are super excited. Elder Mauchley is sad he won't be here for it.

Awesome thing happened this week. We were down at these appartments trying to contact this guy. He wasn't there so we decided to try and talk to this other guy that lived nearby. We had already tried to talk to this guy like 10 times so we had already given up on him, but we felt impressed to knock on him door one more time. So we did and he let us in and we taught him. His name is James. He commited to read about the BOM and pray about it.

Man I really have to get going guys. I love you all and pray for you. Thank you for all you do. Have A great week
